In my first post on this blog I would like to give you a few ideas on where to go if you’re looking for well-developed tropical vacation spots. Poor countries frequently have inadequate infrastructure. Moreover, if you want to take vacation with your family (particularly if you have small children), it’s safer to take them to a developed and safe country. Here are a few places that may be a good choice for you:
1. Cayman Islands
Cayman Islands is a major international financial centre. Thanks to this, it’s one of the most developed countries in the Caribbean region. Tourism is one of its main industries and there are many good reasons to it – beautiful beaches, developed tourist facilities and great scuba diving spots are just a few of them. One of country’s main attractions is Seven Mile Beach which was voted as “The Caribbean’s Best Beach” by Caribbean Travel and Life Magazine.
2. Mauritius
Mauritius is one of the most developed African countries. Its main focus is on more affluent tourists looking for a high standard of service. If you’re looking for something more exotic, yet still developed and relatively affordable, Mauritius is the place for you.
3. Costa Rica
The world’s leader in ecotourism is a perfect place for family vacation. It’s safe, well developed and offers many different attractions. You can relax at numerous beautiful tropical beaches surrounded by wild lush jungles, experience amazing biodiversity of the country or visit volcanoes.
4. Hawaii
Hawaii is one of the most popular well developed tropical vacation spots in the world. It’s very easy to get there from the mainland US and you can be sure that you’ll find something for you. Islands of Hawaii offer many different activities and many different accommodation options. The place is great to visit all year round (even in the rainy season) which is another great advantage of Hawaii.
5. Mexico
Mexican Caribbean coast is one of the most popular with Americans tourist areas in North America catering to many different segments of tourists. If you want to take short vacation, Mexico may be the best choice. If you want to avoid sometimes overcrowded Caribbean coast, consider Mexican Pacific Coast which should be a little quieter.
Keep in mind that before you choose any place, you should read extensively about it. Make a list of things you’re looking for in your perfect destination and find out if your potential vacation spot meets your requirements.
